They speak 9 languages... doubly! / Hablan 9 idiomas... ¡por partida doble!

Yeah, they are Matthew and Michael Youlden, twins, and they speak nine languages fluently (English, Irish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan and Hebrew). Moreover, they are able to understand more than a dozen more!
These polyglot Brothers started to learn languages together since the age of eight.

Matthew Youlden is a sociolinguist who studies the revitalization of minority languages and works as a linguistic consultant in language teaching platform Babbel. Youlden's brothers started to learn Greek because they wanted to visit Greece, but finally they went to Spain soooo they started to learn Spanish... and so on :)
They dediced to study these languages together, because they think it'd be easier. It seems logical, well done!!

Si, ellos son Matthew and Michael Youlden, gemelos, y hablan nueve idiomas fluidamente (Inglés, Irlandés, Francés, Alemán, Italiano, Portugués, Español, Catalán y Hebreo). Además, ¡son capaces de entender más de una docena mas!

Estos hermanos políglotas comenzaron a aprender idiomas juntos desde que tenían ocho años.

Matthew Youlden es sociolingüista que estudia la revitalización de las lenguas minoritarias y trabaja como asesor lingüístico en la plataforma de enseñanza de idiomas Babbel. Los hermanos Youlden empezaron aprendiendo el idioma Griego porque querían ir a Grecia, pero al final ellos fueron a España así que comenzaron a aprender Español... etc, etc. :)

Decidieron estudiar estos idiomas juntos porque pensaron que sería más fácil. Parece lógico, ¡bien hecho!!

Do you have a twin sister or twin brother? (I ask for twin becacause they are usually "inseparable", I tell you, who has a twin sister, and studied with her the same degree, finished the same year, we were EVS volunteers at the same time, in the same country...in the same city! há...!).

It's a real challenge to learn new languages but...why not try it? :)

¿Tienes alguna hermana gemela o hermano gemelo? (Pregunto por gemela/o porque son normalmente "inseparables", te lo digo yo que tengo una hermana gemela, estudié con ella la misma carrera, acabamos el mismo año, fuimos voluntarias SVE el mismo año, en el mismo país...y en la misma ciudad! ¡já...!).

Es una gran reto aprender nuevos idiomas pero...¿por qué no intentarlo? :)
